Since 1909, Knox Church has existed to preach the Good News about life in Jesus to our neighborhood.

We believe that a historic, rooted faith in Jesus Christ and the legacy of the Church should be lived out into the places we inhabit today: our homes, our workplaces, and our city. As we grow in life with Jesus, we expand our ability to know God through our mind, our hearts, and our service to each other and God’s world.

Throughout years, Knox has grounded ourselves in two phrases:

• Christ-Centered, Bible-Based:

  • Christ-Centered: Our relationship with Jesus defines and encompasses everything we do. Nothing is more important. Our work, our play, our families, our church, and our identities are founded upon, bound together in, and guided by our relationship with Jesus. (see more)

  • Bible-Based: We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired word of God, delivered through the Holy Spirit by the hands of human beings, and that it has been given to us by God in order to form and transform us. We ground everything we do in the Scriptures, and see our study of the Bible as crucial to our lives as God’s people. (see more)

• Your Neighborhood Church: The Good News of Jesus is good news to our neighbors! God Himself became incarnate, moving into the real lives of His people to bring hope, healing, and restoration. Through the Holy Spirit, we seek to be good neighbors in all of the spaces where God has sent us. We are committed to the wellbeing of the same neighborhood where we were planted over 115 years ago!

Our Denomination

Knox belongs to the Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians (ECO). We believe that the strength of our faith is how we live out our Reformed beliefs in a relentlessly contextual way. We are Reformed, evangelical, and egalitarian. To put it simply, we stand on the shoulders of a historic faith tradition, we believe the Gospel is still Good News worth sharing today, and we affirm the full gifts of both men and women for service to God and God’s world.
